Wasn't he once called Pegasus Kid 2 in honor of the original Pegasus Kid Chris Benoit?

Indeed he was Mr Cranium! He also trained in the NJPW dojo, like Benoit did. Devitts been wrestling for New Japan coming on five years, and he's finally getting the rewards that his talents deserve. I've said it before but I'll say it again. His real name is Fergal Devitt, but the Japanese can't pronounce Fergal so they rechristened him Prince Devitt!

It does look like an impressive card! I see Taka Michinoku is in there. Also, is this more on the Puroresu side where strikes are legit?

They are. You should see Yuji Nagata. If you want LEGIT strikes, Nagata is at the top of my list.

Wether they're legit or not, there's not much air between the kicks and strikes in Japan! A kick or chop from one of those guys is gonna hurt no matter how safe they're swung! Misawa's "El-e-bow" broke more than a few jaws in it's day!
