The Rock had an operation to remove the fatty tissue from around his nipples. Raven had the same operation. Don't believe me? Check out some of Rocky's earlier WWF matches.
Gary Albright, Mitsuhara Misawa and Mike DiBiase all sadly died in the ring.
In WSX, which was terribly flawed, the MTV cameramen wanted the talent to arrive early in the morning, so they could go over their matches at full speed so they could practice filming wrestling and get the best shots come showtime.... X-Pac didn't miss a beat when he told him to go Fuck themselves!
Another X-Pac fact. WWE paid for him to go to rehab, when they found out he was addicted to Meth!
It was Stephanie McMahon who fired Scotty 2 Hotty. When she was promoted to Executive Vice President of creative and talent, Scotty was the first to go!
When John Laurinatis took over from Jim Ross, one of his first assignments was to hire "the one-legged wrestler" who had been making waves on the indy scene and TNA. John made a complete fool of himself when he hired the wrong one-legged wrestler!
Once, in Memphis, Randy Savage wrestled in a one hour draw (I forget his opponent), which isn't note worthy by itself, neither is the fact that it only went about 45 minutes (it used to happen a lot back then). What was note worthy is the fact that there was a massive clock on the wall in full view of the fans! I imagine they were feeling a little short changed!
Mike Jones was given the name Virgil as a rib on Virgil Runnels aka Dusty Rhodes.
Mike Bucci's WWE ring name Simon Dean was a rib on Dean Malenko, who's real name is Dean Simon.
Horace Hogan used to tag with Sabu back in FMW's early years, the team was involved in a few no-rope barbed wire matches too! A far cry from the Horace that used to stink up Mondays and Thursdays for WCW.
The original members of the Dudley boys were Big Dick Dudley, Lil' Snot Dudley and Dudley Dudley. Other Dudleys include D-Von Dudley, Buh Buh Ray Dudley, Sign Guy Dudley, Dances With Dudley and Spike Dudley. The Bushwackers are also honorary Dudleys. What a clan!
During a six man tag match for NJPW, in the early eighties, former shoot fighter turned pro wrestler Akira Madea kicked, one of the companies top babyface's and booker, Riki Choshu full on in the face while Riki was applying the sharpshooter to one of Akira's tag partners. The impact of the kick shattered Riki's orbital bone! Ouch!
Wahoo McDaniel was apparently the "drug dealer"
