I agree with you all, fans are never happy with decisions, either way we all would be arguing no matter who won.

If Orton won people would be complaining "HE WON AGAIN.... GOD DAMMIT, HE DOESNT DESERVE IT! SOMEBODY NEW SHOULD HAVE WON LIKE MORRISON, ADR, CHRISTIAN OR EVEN KOFI"

but of course since ADR won people are complaining that he is new and not main event talent. I for one am EXTREMELY happy that ADR won because he deserves it and walks, talks, wrestles like a main event talent, even before he started feuding with top stars he showed off his flair and his skills proving to all he IS the real deal. He is an established star and can wrestle with the best and even better then about 95% of the WWE roster. Plus as many of you have stated he is already established in Mexico and around the world and plus he fought Cro Cop in MMA and anybody who takes on Cro Cop willingly is legit in my book (though he got KTFO with left leg to the head).

ADR deserves it and without a doubt will bring him further into stardom and many of you will change your view in a few years and start saying he deserved that first RR win. Though others like Morrison, Christian and even Kofi deserved it (Hell Morrison had a show stealing save and Kofi lasted LONG) im glad at least a new guy won the RR and not Orton or Cena or even HHH which we all have seen them won numerous times and would be bitching at that move.

The only thing im upset about is WWE's decision to make Eve the Divas Champion.... that was a horrible decision and killed all momentum for a Gail/Kong/Beth and Natalya WM27 match in my view and Eve didn't deserve it for shit, horrible booking and Natalya deserved it after all she went through to get it from Lay-Cool. Kong should have debuted after Natalya beat both Lay-Cool and then started a Natalya/Kong feud and then introduce both Gail and Beth to the mix...but this is WWE we are talking about.

Then they should have kept Booker T and Nash longer in the Rumble rather then getting them thrown out in less then 3 minutes each... seriously could have made it more enjoyable for the fans to see these guys get a lengthy run in the Rumble for their returns. Also if Evan Bourne, Christian, HHH and even Kong were backstage in the rumble... WHY NOT BRING THEM IN!??!?! Not rehash Ziggler, Orton and even fucking Hornswoggle into the RR, Hornswoggle most of all killed the RR momentum more then New Nexus did and would have been extremely exciting for the fans both there and watching to see some guys return from injuries rather then the same old shit and even seeing Vladamir, Reks and R Truth get eliminated by New Nexus in less then 1 minute... that killed it for me.

Butt great choice on ADR in all honesty

I never go for a piss when I actually buy a PPV. Spending $20, and missing out on a minute of it is a sin to us!

I think WWE made Eve Divas champion to throw us off. But it was a stupid decision. Whos she going to feud with? Michelle? Yawn.

The Rumble was great. I even like the New Nexus domination, then the "go figure" moment when Cena does his superhero shit. Sorry, that was a dislike. I loved the Divas match so I could go get beer and food. I'm fine with ADR getting the title match at Wrestlemania match. It's not like WM is tomorrow. They have a month and some change to build it up for him.

    that's exactly what im saying
some people rather prefer wrestlers who are already established
but for example when edge won the whc tittle at tlc the fans all said "yay great another edge tittle run *sarcasm*"
now del rio wins the rumble which in my oppinion is as prestigious as winning a tittle, the fans go all like "WOW THIS WAS THE WORST ROYAL RUMBLE EVER ALBERTO DEL RIO SUCKS DICK"

honestly people...ok del rio may be climbing up high rather quickly but i just believe wwe sees alot of potential in the guy, hence why they are passing him the torch right away.
he isnt being shoved down our throats like cena but he is a true main eventer bcuz he posseses all the tools needed for it.
    mic skills, check
    wrestling ability check
    charisma check
heat from the fans specially kids check
    the guy has it all

I didn't bother to read everything in this thread, so sorry if it's been said already.

It's the internet - There's always someone complaining about almost everything you enjoy. It's a place where vocal minorities, uncultured teenagers, obscurantists and contrarian assholes thrive. There are literally thousands of people on the internet who think The Godfather is a 1/10 film, "Kind of Blue" is a shit album or Flair vs. Steamboat is not worth anybody's time - either beacuse they're too old, mentioned too often, liked by too many people or just don't fit inside their narrow perception or comfort zone of what they think "art" or "wrestling" should be. But, however unfortunate it might seem at times, they're entitled to thnk what they want.

Imagine if a classic match like Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 13 or TLC 2 were to happen in today's WWE - there'd still be thousands of neckbeards rushing to the internet to blog/vlog about "cheap finishes", jobbing, burying, botches (and various other "insider terminology" they happen to know - need to make it sound like they have a clue what they're on about, natch) and generally just nitpicking at the most trivial things so they can justify its 2 (and three sixteenths) star rating. Likewise, there are always people, in some part of the internet, defend even the stupidest decisions that WWE and TNA or their favourite promotion make.

(Not that I'm comparing Royal Rumble 2011 to any of those things - I just thought it was slightly above average lol. Ziggler vs. Edge was a really good match though.)

    TL;DR version
: Moral of this story - Take the internet with a giant ass pinch of salt. "U MAD" that someone doesn't agree with you? Count to ten or something, laugh about it, read another thread.

You are right fans are never happy & actually I don't think fans have really been happy since the Attitude Era. I think many fans just don't find today's "younger" talents all that interesting & that's the real problem. Fans are looking for the next big things & when you look at today crop of talent...there are no Stone Colds, Rocks, HBKs, Takers, HHHs, Ortons (granted, Orton still young), Edges, Jerichos (okay, maybe Punk has somewhat filled that spot), even Cenas & so forth. I mean if the future is really Miz, Morrison, Del Rio, Sheamus, Barrett, Kingston, Ziggler & such then WWE is in trouble because none of these guys say "Superstar" or "must see kind of guy". Sheamus & Barrett are good but they are not "must see" guys, Morrison is solid in the ring but his appearance is girl-ish & his mic work is terrible, Del Rio may have been something in Mexico & that's great but hello, this is America not Mexico but he hasn't done much of anything in the WWE & just one feud with Mysterio, Kingston is just sloppy in the ring & his mic skills are not significant, Ziggler has potential but I think there is something missing though with him & then there is Miz, who's a decent in-ring guy & good on the mic (even though he's more annoying then funny & his tagline is awfully weak) let alone I don't think many people see or take him seriously as a "World Champion" kind of guy. Most if not all these guys in other generations would be mid-card talents at best. Truth of the matter is, WWE is going to have a hard time for some time & even some executives have openly stated this is the weakest roster WWE has had in long, long time.

You make some valid points. The internet is the definition for "stupids". In many ways, I think people just put on acts to be different when they are on the internet. Hell, the internet is technically known for people of the anti-social individuals. People talk big on the net but in person their true colors show. Granted though, the internet can be in particularly an exceedingly antagonizing place of dunce-like behavior and highly ill-advisement.

heres the thing there is about 10 Million average wrestling fans..... thats 10 million opions in america alone.

Alot of people like Alberto Delo Rio and think he is one the only guys Edge could have a good feud with leading in to WM (like me).

Alot of people are upset Morrison didnt get his final big push.
Alot of people are Upset that Bryan or Punk didnt win.
Alot of People are Upset about Hornswaggle.
Christain being out upset alot of people.
Return of HHH and expecting to win it.

There is so many different opions and this years Rumble was like 2 Rumbles to me.....
The first part of the Rumble was Edge of your seat, Exciting and well performed and the 2nd half to me was just stupid and childish and a poor unexciting rumble.....

But i did liek the PPV and i like who they picked to win it, i think they are going the right direction but alot of people dont like, The Winner, some guys not staying long enough, Some people dont like Rumbles in genreal.

Theres Workrate fans, Entertainment fans, Fans who dont care and simple to please and some people who are just never happy and complain cause they think it makes them look smarter.....

So no there is nothing on the Internet that is well recieved by everyone

Too many giant chunks of text. Cannot read all.

    Will keep short.

ADR: Great? Yes. Main Event Level: Yes. WRESTLEMANIA Main Event Level: No, not in a 1 on 1 bout anyways.

He hasn't even proven brand loyalty yet. What if he jumps to TNA at first opportunity? I know it's unlikely, but it's still possible.

He hasn't put any asses in seats, hasn't had even a single great moment (winning the Rumble doesn't count), he hasn't even had an interesting feud (sorry, Rey = snoozefest).

Sorry, all signs point to a loss for ADR at WM.

The funniest thing for me was watching the WWE FB stream and all the people on there bitching how the New Nexus was dominating everyone and that it wasn't fair and where the hell SuperCena was? When SuperOrton come out everyone was going he HAS TO win.

When ADR won the Rumble, the waste of money it was and I want my money back. Never have I seen a bunch of sooks in my life.
