I hope so. In his early appearences he came across as a good wrestler, before the goofy persona was dumped on him.
I'd always like to see an angle where one of the "goofy" guys loses his cool with management and goes "straight" because it could work as a face or heel angle depending on how he works the crowd.
He could either thank them for sticking with him and keep them on his side, or just blow them off for laughing at him and give them the metaphorical (or indeed the non-PG literal) finger. Would work with Santino in WWE or Eric Young in TNA.
