I'm pretty sure the buy rates would not go down significantly. Most causal fans are not going to go online and read spoilers. The spoiler-readers are most likely going to stream the PPV regardless. Even if the PPV starts at 9pm in the UK, they could show it live in the States at 4pm with a replay at 8pm.

Why not have a regular uk ppv
I know with the time difference the buy rates get effected but why not have a yearly uk ppv. I'm sure the uk buy rates would go up being able to watch it live at a sensible time.

I think it would be a great idea. After all Raw and Smackdown tapings are always a big success. They could even theme it, eg. The British Bash or Extreme England (I'm claiming copyright and IP on both those names by the way (I know you're watching WWE so don't try it
)).

I don't know about how good or bad the buyrates will be. But I'm pretty sure when the WWE goes to areas that aren't typically visited, the crowd is usually HOT. And the UK won't be any different.

Didn't WWE used to do one exclusively for the UK called Insurrextion? I can remember sitting up to watch it on Channel 4 as a teenager?
Those were the days, Channel 4 (Free to Air, back in the days when you either got Sky Satellite that you had to pay extra for or 4 Terrestrial channels for the majority of us) used to show Sunday Night Heat and about 4 pay per views a year

I can't really see how buyrates in the US would drop because of the timezone difference. We're only 5-7 hours (I think?) in front you guys. So if the PPV starts at the standard 8pm here, it would mean that you guys would get it mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Who does anything on a Sunday? I think it would be pretty cool to kick back on a chill Sunday afternoon and watch a live international PPV.

If they can get a nice number of guys that buys the PPV from ex: Germany,Spain,France,Italy,UK etc. Maybe WWE can earn a couple of dollars there. Im from Sweden and i would love to watch a PPV that airs on 8/9pm and the price is very good, 20 dollar, in swedish 120sek
