He is NOT a heel. He's a uber face that some people can't stand. He's a big boy scout who the kids love and other people hate him cause he's such a GOOD guy. It's kind of like Homer Simpson hating Ned Flanders. That doesn't mean Ned is a bad guy. He still does all the right things and is nice to people. It just irritates the shit out of people because he always does the right thing. He never does the wrong thing. It means he is just so much of a goodie two shoes that it is nauseating.

But here's the thing: heel = antagonist. Just because he's not a traditional heel doesn't mean he's not one regardless. He's still having a negative effect on half of the live fan base weekly. Heck, even the nWo had their fans.

great comparison and I couldn't agree more. john does everything the right way, he barely ever has a tangent from his facade, the exception being when he made out with the hoeski.

I understand that, but the unfortunate reality is fan reactions does not dictate a heel from a face just on that alone. It can influence the company to change the direction of that character, ala Daniel Bryan is now crazy, but the fan reaction is not the final say per definition.

But if you are going on judging heel from face outside a traditional sense and basing it just on crowd reaction alone, then Dolph Ziggler is a face, which in the traditional sense, he is not.

Some people just can't stand other people cheering for him. To me they're like a bratty child having a tantrum, stomping their feet, throwing themselves on the ground, going all red faced. It's annoying yes, definitely embarrassing, but like a child they don't know they're embarrassing themselves, not anyone else. Nobody cares if you don't like Cena. Your voice is being drowned out by tens of thousands of screaming John Cena fans. I hate Randy Orton, but I'm not going to make a thread about it.

He will also literally pick tiny particles from the living room carpet, before using the vacuum cleaner. Psychologists say that anally retentive people’s habits—often controlling—stem from lack of being breast fed as an infant. Basically, people who are anally retentive act like they have something up their butt. Instead, they need to see a psyciatrist. And if things don’t go their way, they go nuts! Anally retentive people are usually very annoying as a result and may have a hard time making and keeping friends.
