    miz

I don't know if this thread has been posted 1000 times or not. I don't care neither. I just want to know what is it about him that makes him as popular as he is. Please don't just say "he's awesome". Yeah no shit he's awesome. I just don't like dude and it's not about a heel doing his job because I like heels.
I HATE Randy Orton! He gave my grandma a wedgie! She was butthurt for 2 weeks before she succumbed to her injuries! She went to the grave in an ass cast!
F-U my twin found that hilarious.

Please allow me to give my infinite wisdom on this matter. You see FaceOfSpades people like the underdog and thats exactly what the MIZ is. When he first started in the WWE he was a joke. At one point he was the host of the Diva Search and he forgot his lines. It was a good thing he wrote them down on his hand because that saved him. Not to mention he did this live and everyone knew he messed up. He couldn't wrestle to save his life. But you know what, a few matches with John Cena and the guy changed. His hard work and love for the business paid off. You can tell he wasn't going to stop until his dream of becoming a WWE star happened. Its an awesome fairy tale story really. He has proven himself not only to the fans but all the guys in the locker room and that takes heart. Thats why I enjoy the Miz, he has a passion for the business. I remember watching him on MTV's real world where he showed his persona 'The Miz" way before the WWE had any interest in him. The guy has came so far and he deserves that belt around his waist.

As I've said on many occasions I don't like the miz, I never have and more then likely never will. But everything IPITS said is absolutly, 1000% true. Miz started even lower then the bottom, his promos were pathetic, his in ring work was a joke and his character was just plain sad. But after years of working, training, and taking shit from management and wrestlers alike he's earned his spot and earned that belt

The way the Miz carried himself last Monday on Raw showed me a lot! The mic work, facial expressions, and movements were on point. Miz is proving me wrong since I really didn't take him seriously.

I enjoy the Miz because he's a good actor. Does acting ability go hand in hand with being a successful wrestler? In my opinion, yes. To me, he can sell a story angle, and his character. I'm not saying he is currently at the top of his game, but I think he is on the road to being one of the great stars in the next generation. Maybe I'm biased, but I like the guy

So basically what you are saying IPITS is that the miz is the wwe's Rudy. You guys remember that movie? Rudy? Anyone?

You know, IPEEINTHEHSHOWER has never seen the movie Rudy. I should check it out. I kind of know the story already so in a way Blink yes.

As for SevenCagedTigers I have to disagree with the "VANILLA BLAND" Danielson. Don't equate vanilla bland with being different. That"s what Danielson is, different. His look, his style, his moves, his lifestyle. Do I think the WWE could make better use of him right now, I sure do. But make no mistake about it, its just a matter of time before he has either the WWE champion belt or the World title around his waist.

Miz has been awesome for years. Two or so years ago, Miz and Morrison were teaming up and putting on great matches against DX. And it says a lot when two veterans of the business are willing to work with two guys who were on their way up like Miz and Morrison. On top of that, Miz and his heel persona were able to put over the VANILLA BLAND Daniel Bryan. If it wasn't for the Miz playing the heel role so well, people wouldn't have cared to see Daniel Bryan succeed. And Miz's mic work in his first feud with Cena was phenomenal. It took a lot for a guy within the industry to be able to call out WWE's top dog in shoot-type promos. Miz spoke out on behalf of every wrestling fan who hated Cena. Add to that the fact that he was the last person to carry the U.S. championship and have it look like an object of value. Sorry, but Daniel Bryan isn't doing the same.

You don't have to appreciate the Miz's dedication or his hard work. Just look at his body of work the past couple of years and you'll see why some people like the guy.

first off...i think miz is a good mic worker...and has paid his dues....all true...but unless u can main event a promo like rock...i dont care for miz.....his ringwork is really bad...every match i see he gets beatdown never makes a legit comeback and when he does its just to hit the scf...i aint a fan of his ring work...and the fact that he looks all clean and wears suits makes me not see him as a heel..but he is more of some1 being shove down our throat....i think mic skills are necessary...but i can compare him to bret hart...bret hart was horrible in the mic...but his ring work would win people over...in the miz case is totally the opposite...i think u need more ring work than mic skills to get people over to respect u as a pertformer and i think miz just doesnt have it...even if he paid his dues...how many guys pay dues and get nowhere?,,,,
