I don't know if this thread has been posted 1000 times or not. I don't care neither. I just want to know what is it about him that makes him as popular as he is. Please don't just say "he's awesome". Yeah no shit he's awesome. I just don't like dude and it's not about a heel doing his job because I like heels.

first off...i think miz is a good mic worker...and has paid his dues....all true...but unless u can main event a promo like rock...i dont care for miz.....his ringwork is really bad...every match i see he gets beatdown never makes a legit comeback and when he does its just to hit the scf...i aint a fan of his ring work...and the fact that he looks all clean and wears suits makes me not see him as a heel..but he is more of some1 being shove down our throat....i think mic skills are necessary...but i can compare him to bret hart...bret hart was horrible in the mic...but his ring work would win people over...in the miz case is totally the opposite...i think u need more ring work than mic skills to get people over to respect u as a pertformer and i think miz just doesnt have it...even if he paid his dues...how many guys pay dues and get nowhere?,,,,

The popularity of The Miz, Cena, and even Orton makes me scratch my head often times. I think all three men have talent, but they are not the reason I watch wrestling. I have watched wrestling for 30+ years and these guys are leading a generation of wrestlers where I honestly do not understand the appeal. I think they kind of signal a divide between old school and new school perception of what the face of WWE should be which is probably why people are so polarized over discussion of them.

IPEEINTHESHOWER has said numerous times he's not a fan of the garden snake Orton. I find him boring with his constant stomping and punching. He is way over rated. Not to mention when some people talk about Mr Baby Oil himself

i think WWEhas beentrying to redefine the heel as just the guy who goes againts the face and is willing to take cheap chots but as some one eho reall ygets underthe crowds skin such as the miz cole and vickie
the miz is a superstar who has really only been improving over time and is a fresh face in the top of the wwe
the miz has been pulling his weight with his off tv work with all his interviews and apperences and seems to be working a schedual that could be compared to cena
