Bringing Dignity Back to the Mid-card Titles

Not one bit in my opinion.

The "King" gimmick never works. as i recall it ended up getting Booker T the boot in the first place.

You beat me to it mate... As much as I like booker I hated that gimmick. Esp charmell yelling "all hail king booker!"

Vince is too Focus on Building and finding Maineveter cause right now WWe is low on them...its only Cena/Randy/Cm punk/Edge/taker/hhh and Thats not even alot when you sit back and think of it this is why the tag team Div. is out of commission and the mid card div. has been so crazy. Their trying to Get Main Eventer so they can play around with more stories without having the same 2 or 3 people go against each other...Once a couple of more superstars get over and reach that main Event Status IMO Vince will Refocus on building back the Mid Cards and Tag Team Div.

I don't think they are all mediocre, but they will get better overall, you've got to get the experience and with a lot of young guys, they aren't as good as the older guys in some parts.

I never said "all". I said "most". I'm not saying there isn't any solid young talents but in terms of overall total packages? It's exceedingly small in terms of young talents today. Only Sheamus, Wade Barrett & The Miz have been the only ones to really show they can bring the full elements needed to be main event level. Truth of the matter is right now, there is no Austins, Rocks, HHHs, HBKs & so forth emerging from the youthful talents as full fledged total packages. There maybe some guys with a few similarities but that doesn't do any satisfaction or gratification in the overall of circumstances when it's all set & done. Simply put either you have "it" or you don't. Sadly, the majority don't.

P.S. For those who say what about Alberto Del Rio? He doesn't count technically as a "young talent" because the guy has been wrestling for over 10 years in Mexico. But he's another subject matter though & yes, he still has alot to prove in terms of being main event caliber in the WWE world but only time will tell. He's doing an admirable job right now for himself but still needs to step up his game even more so.

I think it helps Sheamus' career as he was being buried as king.. But I don't feel it brings dignity back to the mid-card titles, I think if they put the mid card titles on big stars like cena and orton, then they would be taken seriously.. I know when Jericho would win the Intercontinental title at times, it definitely brought back the prestige to it all.. Of course this all just my opinion, but im glad to see Sheamus not getting buried away into obscurity..

was a great match and was special about it was there was no obvious winner going into it and i look forward to a longer rematch at wrestlemania i thought daniel bryan and miz both were worthy u.s champions just they didnt have them defend it every couple of weeks i think sheamus brings something different to the mid card that we havent seen since kane was intercontinental champion in 2002 because usually its the smaller guys who can work but arent ready or arent trust to be world champion so its a nice change of pace

I actually thought of the chance of Sheamus quitting would have been to quit Raw and then head over to Smackdown.

See, to me, in order for a "...or I'll quit" threat to actually have some substance, it needs to encompass the person making that proclamation actually losing something significant (like a career). To essentially say, "...or I'll quit this show and just go on to the other one," either A. says there's nothing really at stake, or B. completely devalues Smackdown, as they'd be openly acknowledging that as some sort of step backward.

Very valid point sir, I was thinking of when Ziggler was 'fired' from Smackdown and then moved to Raw, so being fired or quitting literally means nada in some cases.
