    a new phenom

im watching wrestlemania xv on wwe on demand and im wondering your opinions on whether or not the wwe should bring in a new deadman/mortician/evil type of big man to the spotlight. not immediately after the deadman retires, but a few years down the road. it would be a repeat, but i think the character is just amazing. would it be wrong to acknowledge the undertaker if this character came about? someone on the boards mentioned this before but there was never a thread.

p.s. michael cole just said you could get your finger caught in the cell, lol.
I HATE Randy Orton! He gave my grandma a wedgie! She was butthurt for 2 weeks before she succumbed to her injuries! She went to the grave in an ass cast!
F-U my twin found that hilarious.

Post Undertaker gimmick guys are pretty much dried up and dead in the WWE, and will more than likely stay that way
    Prediction 29/3/11

    Summerslam and or Survivor Series

Team Bring It vs Team Cena
HBK vs HHH (Trips must retire if he loses)
    JoMo vs Miz
    Edge vs Christian
Alberto Del Rio vs Sin Cara

You could still have a 'monster' type guy without the UT's gimmick. Just have an indestructible squashing machine like say Skip Sheffield just immobilize everyone!

I doubt a new phenom would work after the Undertaker. It only works for him because he had the gimmick for over 10 years, longer then other, lets face it, silly gimmicks lasted.

I think it could only be done if UnderTaker helped put the character over. But I don't want it, There is only 1 Phenom, they should come up with a totally different gimmick that is also special.

I'm with Automatic, The Deadman/Phenom gimmick should be retired after Undertaker leaves unless he expllicitly tells Vince to use the gimmick on a particular young guy.

Chuck Palumbo tried that with UT's Biker gimmick. It did not end too well.

Edit: They also tried a similar gimmick to The Undertaker's "DEADMAN" gimmick with Mordecai.

I see Kane retiring couple or even few years after Undertaker. (IMO)
I mean Kane is somewhat already similiar to him, again i used somewhat. But once undertaker retires his gimmick goes with him and WWE should never use that gimmick again. It wont work, it'll leave us in disbelief as to why they try to recreate The Phenom.
CM Punk is not impressed with Chris Jericho.
