Why not Friday Night Wars?

So TNA tried to bring back the Monday Night Wars by switching Impact! to Monday nights. However, they failed, and returned to Thursday nights defeated.

So I'm wondering, why doesn't TNA bring the fight to Smackdown instead? TNA has proven that they can get 1.1-1.3 ratings consistently. Smackdown has been getting 2.0's. Isn't it smarter to go after WWE's #2 show instead of going after their 3.3-3.8 flagship?

The same thing will happen to TNA if they go to friday and it's useless, let them get at least a 3.0 rating first for a year, something similar to Raw, and then go head-to-head.

It would be a bad call to move on Fridays. They will have to put special things after special things just to even compete.

My crazy idea....compete against NXT on Tuesdays.

i think your joking but just in case. NXT is online so it gets no rating so its not hard to beat NXT.

tna probably couldn't beat smackdown right now. after mania and with christian getting a main event push its a good time to be a fan of smackdown, the underdog thing and now some raw talent will be coming over to mix things up. spike wouldnt even play any commercials for the schedule change until a week b4 they do it and i just think that spike is fine with where tna is going as of late.

Tna Needs to focus soley on improving its own product right now nothing else

Completly agree on the second part. They should just focus on themselves. That one of their main problems, paying too much attention to WWE.

In many peoples eyes SD is second to RAW.So if TNA was to compete against it,they would look like a second rate company.Also,Spike will definitley not move them to fridays.
