Triple H possibly heeling up on Taker?

In the promo, Triple H speaks about going back to his 'darkside' in the promo above. Now if this means Triple H is going to heel up on Taker before Mania [sledgehammer bitches] then this feud will get very exciting, very quickly.

HHH has been long overdo for a heel. How awesome would it be for Triple H ambush Taker during a promo with a sledgehammer or while he is coming down to the ring. Honestly, that is what this feud is missing right now. Confrontation. All this 'no worded stare downs' build up is not doing it for me. The match will be good, but can we have the hype to go behind it as well? Thats all I am saying.

To be perfectly honest I don't think we're going to see any 'heeling up' from either man. At this point I think that undertakers streak is the focal point, there don't need to be any heels or faces because its all about pride now. Theres no story between these two, and no time to create one, WWE's focus is only on putting the two biggest names on the biggest stage for the biggest prize. And for my money thats the way I want to see it happen.

Besides at this point in his career HHH is so popular that even if he went hardcore heel he'd still get more cheers then boos, just like Undertaker. They are the only two big name veterans still going so I don't think we'll be seeing either of them trying to be a face or a heel anymore. They are just gonna be them and let the fans decide whether or not to hate or love

I agree with dameduse823... IMO I would have them return at the rumble and have one eliminate the other sparking off the feud. They've been back now, what, 3 weeks? And they haven't even punched each other. Are they going for suspense? If so, that's not for me. We see it every year in the build up to mania. I enjoy longer story lines.

On paper this looks a good match, but the lack of storyline is turning me off it...

Triple H gets a lot of criticism, but he really was one of the best heels WWE have had. I can't say I see it happening, but I'd sure like to see him turn heel before Wrestlemania.

Heel or not, you know this is going to be a "brutal", classic match.

You're right. They've really thrown this one together at the last minute and any sudden heel turn is going to seem very rushed and without any logical motive and I really hate the old "wrestler wakes up one morning feeling evil" angles...e.g. almost every TNA heel turn.

I don't think they're stupid enough for him to reveal his plan to "go heel" in a promo. Most heel turns happen when you "least expect" them to. If anything, I wouldn't be surprized if they made the Undertaker go heel just to keep his streak intact, sort of a move of desperation. Remember the beautifully played heel turn with Austin at WM X-Seven (exactly 10 years removed from this upcoming event)? The storyline throughout the build-up was "I MUST BEAT YOU, ROCK", although Austin has always had The Rock's number in their feuds. I can see the same happening with The Undertaker. To also add fuel to the fire, and I was surprised that we didn't hear a loud chorus of boos after they showed footage of Undertaker dominated HBK during their 2 matches this Monday on Raw. Of course, Taker's heel turn probably won't last long because they'll need him to be a face in order to go out on top at next year's Wrestlemania as 20-0.

Well, WWE nowadays is very much different from how things were in the past. So I wouldn't be surprised if they DID make him go heel as a result of the promo. Yeah, it would be rushed in a sense, but WWE did that too themselves for throwing it together at the last minute ... like they tend to do a lot recently. All I am saying is, it would be awesome if they did have Triple H go heel on Undertaker before Wrestlemania.
