Randy Orton - Viper Or Legend Killer?

Which gimmick of Orton did you prefer?

As you can tell by the thread name, i want to know which gimmick of Orton you preferred as a heel?

For me, as cocky as the youngest WHC in history was, and as good as some of his feuds were, (particularly the one with Mick Foley IMO) the Viper takes it as a heel. The whole cold, calculating, ready to pounce out of nowhere Orton we know today was very over as a heel, maybe more than the legend killer because his feud with HHH and him taking out the whole Mcmahon family made it as personal as they come, making it one of the only feuds in recent years that really got me hooked (shame about the match at mania 25 though). Again this is just my own opinion, feel free to disagree as you think fit !

What do you all think ?

The Legend Killer was awesome. The Viper is better as a heel. His current face Vier sucks ass!! And I don't think that just because he took the title off Christian.

No i agree on the face viper, which is why im only thinking about the time during which he was a heel, as i think the face turn completely ruins things..
I agree though, the Legend Killer was also awesome !

The whole "Legend Killer" gimmick was purely lame especially since he always lost to every damn legend. How is that a legend killer? Simply put...it isn't. I perfer "The Viper" gimmick way more. The only problem had with Orton as a full-fledged heel is he always acted cowardly & in the end, pretty much would lose in every feud. The guy was basically a top heel fall guy. He would look good & in the end, you know he would get his ass handed to him as he did everytime. I perfer Orton as a tweener more so because he at least wins but they need to make Orton meaner & simply not give a damn who he hurts whether it's a face or a heel. His character is the type of character that no one should be able to control. He pretty much needs an Austin mentality per se.

I don't think we need a Stone Cold V2. Let Orton be himself. Perhaps the beard was grown to establish himself as a heel with his latest actions.
