CM Punk Move Thief?

KENTA of Pro Wrestling NOAH commented on CM Punk utilizing a number of his trademark wrestling maneuvers in WWE.

He told the Daily Star, "Please list him on the wanted list as he stole my move."

According to a source, Punk was so enamored with the Japanese wrestling star years ago that he adopted a good portion of his moveset, including the GTS and a multiple slaps/roundhouse kick sequence.

i dont see what the problem is.. wrestlers use other wrestlers' moves all the time, i mean i could name so many people who 'stole' signatures/finishers from other wrestlers

It does sound like a joke. I'd like to see the scene where a wrestler went to a patent office and said "well, first I do this move, followed by this one, then I can mix it up with either move A or move B - see how versatile I am? and then finish with a slight variation of a move that's been done worldwide for the last 20 years. I'd like to patent that please. Oh what's the variation? Well sometimes I do it clockwise and sometimes...get this...I go counter-clockwise! Pretty clever huh?"

I think Kenta is making fun of all those idiots who have ever complained about 'stolen' moves.

I smell sarcasm here too. Orton uses the Angle Slam, Kofi and Cara both use the flying cross body, "stealing moves" is nothing new and nothing to worry about IMO.
