Eh~ Kelly Kelly is the only Diva I can think of at the moment that is due a Championship run. I would have nominated Gail Kim, Beth Phoenix, Melina, and Maryse for that, but they are all apparently on the shelf momentarily an just wouldn't seem right to place them in a top-notch (lulz!) storyline for the Diva's Championship. Kelly Kelly has held a great deal of media success recently, and I believe that this alone would play a huge factor in her winning such a Championship with a quickly declining prestige, and the Championship is still fairly NEW! .. It is just not right.
It's a shame that "Kharma" had to go out that way. I believe that they should have just took her off Television without a write off an then re-ignite that storyline upon her return. Another acceptable ending would be for her to get in a fight with Kelly Kelly backstage an then have
"Kharma" placed in custody kind of like an early Monster Kane shortly after he had lost his mask back in 2003. For her to go out to the ring an just break down like that completely killed that monster element that has lingered over her head for these past few weeks. I am curious to see how things would play out if she returns to television.. Will she just be a regurlar Diva? Either way, I'd like to see her have a match on WWE programming.
Also-- Kelly Kelly has improved slightly in her in-ring work. I know that not a lot of people have really noticed, but I certaintly have. She has really stepped up her game recently compared to how she was a year or two ago. I'm hoping that the 'E would allow the Diva's to get a little more edgier in their matches. After the interviews I have seen along with some grizzly backstage footage, The WWE Diva's have it in them to out perform some of the guys. They just have to get more ring time, and then train their asses off. Although I am not a fan of Melina as a person, she needs to be in the ring more to get the other Diva's up to speed. Melina's wrestling skills are ALMOST on par with the 2003-2006 Trish Stratus. This is something that Kelly Kelly, the WWE's future, should pick up on.
