I'm gonna be delving on the "past Kane character" here and probably not making much sense, but I just don't remember WWE commenting on how all those burn marks were removed from his face. I mean after all, when the character first showed up in 1997, his face was supposed to be all burned up in that fire, hence the mask, along with the fact that he had to talk with some voice box mic. Then all of a sudden he didn't need that contraption anymore. Years were spent talking bout his face under the mask til he finally took off mask in 2003. When he did he had burn marks on his face. Then all of a sudden they were gone with no explanation. I just feel like they could have kept the character that way considering the back story. Not in a way that reminds everyone about being caught in a horrible fire but how did the character get physically repaired? I guess I am saying the physical aspect of his character can be kept constant for maybe the sake of TV but the other aspects of his character can be changed so it doesn't go totally stale, as a lot of wrestling journalists and maybe even fans have said about him in the past.
On a different note, yes it is nice that Kane is a heavyweight champ again because it's actually fresh. I honestly didn't expect him to win any heavyweight title again the way he was being used. His 24-hour WWF title reign never should have happened but it did only because he ducked a chair shot from the Undertaker(meant for Kane) that ended up hitting Stone Cold Steve Austin and making him bleed. And for all you Kane fans out there....do you feel cheated that considering he's the big sized guy that Vince likes, he still had to climb a ladder and grab a briefcase just to get the heavyweight title? Personally he could have earned a shot in a tournament or some kind of status quo number one contender's match. I guess climbing a ladder does not fit his "monster" persona.
Now with Paul Bearer making his return to the feud, should WWE not remind everyone of the what got the Kane and Undertaker saga started in the first place? I know it was way back in 1997-1998 but should WWE use that again as a back story?
