Patrick Riley: And now Duds, something we’ve been building up to all night! It’s the time for our Eddie Juarez-Jason Alexander confrontation!
Dudley Erickson: I’m definitely looking forward to this. Two guys who obviously just hate each other given complete free reign on whatever the hell they want to say! Both guys are loose cannons- look at Eddie Juarez last week!
Patrick Riley: And Jason isn’t short of controversy. These two actually had their first ever sanctioned match at Resurrection.
Dudley Erickson: You call that a match? The two of them just started throwing punches and the referee called it off. That wasn’t a match, that was a brawl!
A very mixed reaction greets Alexander as he walks out onto the stage. He looks around at the mostly cheering crowd as he makes his way down the ramp, sliding into the ring where Jabe security are waiting for him. He picks up a microphone but before he can say a thing...
Another huge mixed reaction meets the music as Eddie Juarez walks out onto the stage. Once again, the crowd are mostly cheering as he makes his way down the ramp, and immediately runs at the ring, sliding in and making a beeline for Alexander, but the security guards hold him back and reposition themselves between both men.
Patrick Riley: And this nearly loses control immediately!
Dudley Erickson: Juarez was right! We need the security!
Juarez backs up and grabs a microphone. He looks around for a few seconds, before looking across the ring at Alexander.
Eddie Juarez: So you showed up ay homes? Big mistake esse. You see, what you’ve done is very simple, you’ve made yourself available for nothing less than an asskicking of a lifetime. You think that all of these security guards are going to hold me back? Sure, they’re on alert right now but very soon they’re going to lose interest. And that’s when I strike. I guarantee you won’t even leave this ring tonight hombre!
The fans give a mixed reaction but Alexander just laughs. Juarez seems to get even angrier from that gesture. He looks set to launch himself forwards again but instead, takes a deep breath and recomposes himself.
Eddie Juarez: I said last week that no wrestling match will ever happen between us Jason. Why? Because what happened at Resurrection, that will just keep happening again and again. You and I, we don’t want to wrestle each other, we’d rather KILL each other. I come from the most dangerous city in the world, Juarez, and let’s face it, if anybody on this roster was capable of killing, it would be me.
And that’s not to say you haven’t had a rough upbringing. That’s why we clash Jason- believe it or not, we’re actually very similar.
The fans pop for the statement.
Eddie Juarez: Yet that doesn’t seem to stop you does it? Time and time again, I have proven my worth in this ring and you have disrespected me each and every single step of the way. You see, I’ve earnt everybody else’s respect. Sure, most of the guys in the back don’t like me but they can see that I have talent, they can see how good I am. All of these people can see how good I am esse!
But you? You just look at me and snarl. Why? It’s jealousy.
The fans boo for this statement.
Eddie Juarez: Why would the GREAT Jason Alexander be jealous of Eddie Juarez? Because it’s simple, you thought nobody would ever outperform you, you thought wherever you go- you’d be the first name of everybody’s lips. Oh did you see what Jason Alexander did tonight? Hombre, I’d love to be Jason Alexander. But the second I stepped foot into this industry, your fifteen minutes of fame were up and the talk of the town was all about me. All about a Mexican!
And that’s why you don’t respect me. Puerto Ricans were raised to hate Mexicans and vice versa, but what that means for you to see me showing you up each week is very simple, it means that your end is coming Jason. The end of Jason Alexander. You say you’re a nightmare, well everybody has to wake up at some point.
All of our nightmares will be over as soon as I get my hands on you. I can promise you that. But your nightmare will just be beginning. When I’m finished with you, there will be the rehabilitation. You will have to come to terms with the fact that your illustrious career is over. Without all of this, what do you exactly have Jason?
Juarez holds the microphone down as Jason stares at him. Juarez brings the microphone up again.
Eddie Juarez: I’m genuinely asking. I want an answer.
Alexander looks towards Juarez with great disdain.
Alexander: Are you finally finished running your mouth?
Before Juarez can even answer...
Alexander: Good, cause now it's my time. It's always been my time Juarez, you'd know that by now but honestly you're either just too dumb or just too Mexican to see it. Yeah, we hate each other but it's never as simple as just being Mexican and Puerto Rican.
I hate you because as much as it pains to me admit, I saw a lot of who I used to be in you. I hated that I let myself get to the point where I would be soon forgotten, while you Juarez were the talk of the world over at HWA and there I was thinking that should be me. It should always be me. Jealousy is a bitter word to have in one's vocabulary, unfortunately it's been part of mine for some time. I've got nothing to hide now.
Crowd cheers at Alexander's sincerity.
Alexander: I saw the chance to put myself out there once again in a manner that I saw fitting and that was to lay you out because I wanted to and what made it even better is you never saw it coming. I regret not the actions of that day, just that I didn't do a better job that day.
Juarez tries to lunge towards Alexander but the security team holds him back.
Alexander: And there it is. Your temper has always gotten the better of you and made you the overconfident pompous ass you are to think that you ever stood a chance against. We've been close even been at a stalemate at one point or another but now that ends. This ends, Juarez. I'm going to enjoy In Justice for Brawl because I finally get my justice. I finally get the pleasure of ending you once and for all.
You said it yourself. JBW needs to realize no regular match will do the hatred we harbor for each other justice, I'm just dying to see what it is they finally decide will the proving ground to see which one of us walks away literally and the other ends up in a box. That's the only way I see this ending. I know you'll be looking to do the same and that's why this is gonna a defining moment in both our careers. This could be the end for either you or I. I'm ready to be the last one standing tall at the end, I still wonder if you are as well but we won't have to wait long to find out.
Crowd is mixed as to cheer or boo Alexander's words but he doesn't care at the moment as he continues to speak.
Alexander: Now before you continue to bore these people to death with your words, you asked me that without all of this, what exactly do I have? A tough question to answer for anyone else but for me....what I have is simply....The JBW World Heavyweight Championship in my sights. I'm going to finish you off and whether it be TheDevil'sAdvocate or anyone who holds that championship will have a bullseye on their back because I'm going to be the next JBW World Heavyweight Champion.
You wanted your answer, there you have it.
