Even after a brutal battle to this point, all three men are still willing to stand and bang in the middle of the ring. Seeming to get the same idea at the same time, May and Light both begin to lay into The Archangel with right hands. May and Light then send Kayden off the ropes but just as he is about to eat a double clothesline on the way back, he ducks.
Kayden’s attempt at a double clothesline of his own off the rebound only gets him a huge back-body drop for his efforts. The Archangel rolls out of the ring on impact and, for now at least, it’s down to two.
Sly: Daniel May…Shining Light…Who wants it?
The alliance between the two men in the ring dissolves quickly ass Shining kicks May in the gut and hits him with a piledriver. Light goes for the cover but May gets the shoulder up at one and a half. Shining pounds the mat in frustration and begins arguing with the ref about a slow count. Seeing his opening, May goes for the schoolboy and gets a two count out of it before Shining pops his shoulders up. Both men get up quickly and Shining looks to hit his finisher. May sneaks out of it and connects with his own finishing maneuver: The Double Leg Brainbuster DDT.
Sly: Daniel May! All’s he has to do is cover hi-No! Kayden!
As May goes to cover Shining and, almost assuredly, win the match, Kayden James slides back into the ring, throws May over the top rope, and covers Shining.
Sly: The Archangel just stole one! It’s obvious James was playing possum there and, honorable move or not, it’s earned him the biggest opportunity of his career. Kayden James is the number one contender for the unified world championship!
Kayden is celebrating in the ring, Larry’s snoring has increased to a deafening level, the crowd is booing like their lives depend on itand, as the JBW logo appears on-screen, The Summer of Jabe has officially begun. JBW!
