Raw 01.02.2012
Raw opens as the pyro hits and Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole welcome everyone to the first Raw of 2012.
The WWE champion John Cenas music hits and Runs down to the ring and grabs a mic and says that this is the year where everyone in the WWE universe will witness the greatest match in Wrestlemania history. He says that in 4 weeks it is the 2012 royal rumble PPV which is the day that the road to Wrestlemania 28 begins. He reminds everyone of the promise that he made the night after Wrestlemania 27, that he will still be champ by next year’s mania. He tells everyone that he still is and he plans on retaining the title at Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. *Chime* *Chime*, Michael Cole stands up, “And I Quote”. The GM says, “Cena if you plan on retaining your title at the Royal Rumble then I need to give you an opponent, so tonight there will be a fatal four way between, The Miz, Cm Punk, Rey Mysterio and Jack Swagger”. The GM also announces that he has been anonymous for long enough and that he will announce his identity next week live on Monday Night Raw. Cena looks happy as we take a break.
**Commercial**
First match of the night: Alberto Del Rio vs. Evan Bourne
Winner: Alberto Del Rio Via Cross arm breaker
Ending: Bourne goes for the air Bourne but Del Rio puts his knees up and hits Bourne. Right after, he locks in the cross arm breaker and makes Bourne tap.
After celebrating for a few seconds Del Rio grabs a mic and tells the audience that he plans on winning the Royal Rumble for a second year in a row and that it is once again his destiny.

Match 2: Number 1 Contenders match for the WWE Divas championship where the winner will face Kelly Kelly for the Title at the Royal Rumble.
Maryse/w Melina vs. Eve Torres
Winner: Maryse
After the match Melina comes in, While she is doing that Maryse grabs a mic and says that her and Melina are planning on becoming the most dominant divas in WWE history by making every other diva suffer. She says that at the Royal Rumble she will become the new divas champion by making Kelly Kelly pass out . She drops the mic and picks up Eve and hits her with her new finisher, The Faith Breaker.
We cut backstage where Josh Matthews is with CM Punk, he asks punk if he thinks he will win tonight and go on to RR and face Cena. Punk replies with “Cena thinks that he will keep the WWE title till Wrestlemania, I know he’s held it for 7 months now but he has never faced me in that period and after tonight when I win the Fatal 4 Way tonight I will go on to the royal rumble and beat Cena because “ IM Awsomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!. Miz eyes up punk

The Miz vs Rey Mysterio vs Cm Punk vs Jack Swagger.
Cena comes out to commentate followed by the competitors
Winner : Jack Swagger Via Pin
Ending: Rey Mysterio throughs punk and Miz out, but once he turns round swagger hits the gut wrench power bomb on Rey for the 1,2,3.
Post match Swagger eyes Cena up as replays air and Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole remind everyone about the GM revealing his identity Next Week Live On Monday Night Raw.
