Well for me it's a potential thing. I see a hell of a lot of potential in Maddox. I think he can be a big part of the midcard division with the occasional top card feud.

With Mysterio not coming out the ring right away, this might lead to a heel turn which could be the building blocks for their match at WM 29 since creative seems to be adamant towards the prospect. It's either that or I'm looking too much into thing.

He has a great look, he sells well. And I like the fact he has to fight the top stars to get his contract. Makes you look forward to that match where he gets that big win. And I feel like every time he comes out or do something he always get a decent reaction, and cut a promo. He's only been on tv 5-7 times to be fair, but I think he could be a great star. Not saying WWE Champion, but a great talent.
