Maybe why I'm cracking so many jokes is because this shit happens SO regularly over her it doesn't phase us. We go through the motions we pick up and move on. You said one person died from the riots so far. THAT'S AMAZING! Just one? Phenomenal. I wish it never happened in the first place and your neck of the woods doesn't sound equiped to handle such craziness. But for me, making jokes... no matter how lame takes some tension off. I always do it. I don't change my real person from my online person. I may sound brash and abrasive but I am.
I go to work every night and put my life on the line to protect my area from the dangerous bastards inside those walls. I'm proud of what I do and proud that my family is proud of me for what I do. And like I said earlier, in the States it wouldn't have gone on as long as this but realistically, there'd be a whole lot more casualities than one. Be thankful that all they have are baseball bats and knives. Gangs here have guns. POWERFUL guns. It's a struggle every day around here but at least I can smile and make jokes. Now, off to bed.
Are you this insistent on making this into an argument on what country is more dangerous to live in, America or the UK? Fact of the matter is that these things are bad no matter where they take place. I've never been to America, but I imagine its dangerous at times; thing is, so is the UK, you wouldn't want to walk through Tottenham, Manchester or Birmingham at night, I promise you that. And if you using media statistics to measure the danger then your a bigger idiot then I already guessed, because I hate to break it to you, the media lies. At the end of the day, you have made a joke, a bad one may I add, but a joke none the less, so the only thing I feel like doing now, is reluctantly quoting Kelly Kelly "The best way to fight stupidity, is by ignoring it", goodbye Rob.
