XD LAG lost AGAIN to SJ Earthquakes.

Beckham finally scored again for LA but considering they YET AGAIN choked a good lead of 3-1 to lose 4-3.

Yeah, totally should play for Team GB over Giggs'

LA have the strongest midfield and they get overrun by SJE.

Whitecaps didn't play this week

2nd overall in the Western.

6 points a head of the Sounders and Whitecaps but Whitecaps have a game over the Sounders and 2 games to play over you.

You've lost your last 3 games and drew the other 2 so you're on a bit of a shitstreak currently. Gotta start winning or Seattle and Vancouver will overtake and LA Galaxy did go on a mini good run before choking again.

It's pretty much a joke tournament as it is. Why does Bellamy get to go?

Beckham, he did help get the games in the end, and you might as well for the publicity.

It is a bit of a joke. It's held when most teams are in pre-season, so not every player goes, and even if they do they are all careful to not get injured during the tournament, which makes for poor games. And to top it all off, the UAE qualified. How? I'll never know.

As I've said before, helping to win the olympic bid does not = a place on the team. The real joke would be had Beckham been selected based on that criteria (which would have been the case since there's no footballing reasons why he should be in the team).

But that's my point. It's a joke tournament, so why not pick Beckham? Players will play cautious, not wanting injury, and we will go out in the group stages.

Might be a joke to you, but for me, it's a chance for me to see some great players playing live. Perhaps the only chance I'll ever get to see these players playing live. So when I go to the games, I'll enjoy them to the max.
