Nah I'm just fucking with you, new CB's are needed but a new Midfield is a fucking must for you lot.

I'm with Akbar, I don't think yesterday proved we needed new centre back's at all.. when everyone is fit we have some very good quality to choose from.

For me.. Yesterday showed we don't have that classy midfielder to unlock the door in a tight situation, Scholes and Carrick can do it.. But we could do with a Mata/Silva type of player IMO.
Anderson has his good games, but he's nowhere near consistent enough to be the creative force we need.

All in all.. well played Norwich, they were awesome and deserved there win for the effort put in, I do feel had we had Rooney fit and available it would have been a different game.

Well what a loss. Shame we couldn't capitilize on Chelsea loosing and pull away further from them. We've let City back in now too. Beaten by a very good header though.

IMO we don't need new CB's. We've got Ferdinand and Vidic, Evans, Smalling and Jones. That's a good set of CB's to chose from. When Ferdinand retires we'll need to look for someone. NOT Shawcross though. I don't rate the guy at all, he's average at best for me. His England performance the other day showed how average he is.

We do need a new CM though. Mountinho is my choice. Younger than Snijder and at just as good IMO.
