Honestly, that's where I'd put him at this point lol!

Fergie used the 4-3-1-2 system in some games, so Sneidjer is perfect for the creative role,an atacking midfielder that is covered by the other 3 central midfielders, but we already have Kagawa so I don't think we need him

Rooney plays in that role when we're playing that formation, and he's doing really good there. Plus like you say, we've got Kagwa, Young and Powell who can play in that position.

Yeah, don't think they would of done great if they kept RDM, said Arsenal would finish above them at the start of the season. Only the two Manchester teams in the title race for a few years I reckon! Now Rafa is there he's messed it all up!
