BBC announcing Rodgers before it's official, could come back to haunt them, nothing is official yet apparently, he's just spoken to the owners.

Can't see City doing much, a defender and maybe an attacking player like Lavezzi. They may sign Van Persie if he doesn't sign a new contract or someone else if Dzeko does go to Bayern.

I personally think Rodgers is a great manager! Don't get why some Liverpool fans are spazzing out over it. It's normal to have some doubts over it, but some are genuinely acting like it's the end of the fucking world.

I'm still waiting to move abroad, so I literally have nothing to do. Hang out most days for a few hours too, then just sit on here all day - and I STILL am not even CLOSE to matching B-Mac. I don't know how he has the time.

If they give him the time, Rodgers WILL be your Sir Alex - mark my words. He's young, He's showed he can grip a team of 'nobodies' and make a team that scares even the best sides. He plays attractive football (something we ALL need more of in the game) and he's done it all with fuck all money.

If the owners and the fans give him the time, and not Expect him to deliver the top 4 on the back of a team that isn't performing at that standard, then it will pay dividends.

My only concern is the idiots who genuinely thought Pep Guardiola was going to roll up in a Liverpool shirt - why would he? He's just finished managing the BEST team in the World (Irrespective of Chelsea winning the CL)...Liverpool is a poison chalice and will continue to be one until they settle down and have some faith - that's the owners AND the fans alike.
