Di Matteo set for Chelsea job. They took way too long to do this.

Bobby should have just walked away from that job. Would be very difficult to match and top what he has achieved this season. He still has a bit of experience to gain and would be better off working at a mid-table Premier League club.

Plus, it would be an amazing to walk away from a job after achieving the one thing that no other manager has achieved at Chelsea and leaving on a high. Massive ego boost. Would be hilarious for him to do MOTD interviews next January and say "That team has gone to shit since I left."

I went out for a pizza and stopped by. As a born and bred Aston Villa fan, I felt it my place to throw forward my humble opinion.

I agree with what you said, which would again be another reason why he should have looked for another job elsewhere. Although, saying that, there aren't any mid-table PL jobs going at the moment. He could have left now and would be back in a job by November though.

Yeah he would walk into any job if one becomes avaiable but he loves Chelsea. Guessing you're pleased with Lambert!

Relatively so. He's the best of what was available. I love O'Neill and would welcome him back in a heartbeat, but he wasted so much money and that's a big reason why the last two season have been so poor. We'll just have to wait and see what support Lambert gets from above.
