Yes it would. Take away the 15 goals that Suarez has scored for you, and you'd have minus 8 goal difference, same as Sunderland who are in a relegation fight.
Take away the 16 goals that RVP has scored for United and we'd still have +10 goal difference, which is more than what Liverpool have at present (that's with Suarez' goals).
So yes, it would be that drastic.

Talking about one player not a full team. No one in your team could do what RVP has for you and the same with us and Suarez.

If we didn't have RVP, Welbeck would have had more games, Hernandez too in the early season (where we played with RVP and Rooney up front), and both would have contributed with more goals.

What I'm saying is, no one else in your team would of scored that goal yesterday, no one else would of scored that hattrick v Southampton, or goal v Fulham and probably the free kick v City. I aint saying you don't have the quality I'm saying without RVP those things wouldn't of happened.

And every damn team rely on their best players, Utd are nowhere near as good without Rooney and RVP, same with Barca and Messi, Real and Ronaldo and Spurs and Bale. It's why they're the best players.

As you say, there the best players and it's nothing wrong with that, I just don't agree with you that we depend on Van Persie like you do with Suarez which was the topic.

You take Suarez out of the team and you would not fancy Liverpool to win against a hard team.

Take Van Persie out of the team and you would still fancy United to win.

Therefore Persie is not as important to us.. like Suarez is for you.
