Gus: And here comes the man who lost against Carlos Alberto Ramon at Do or Die for the Adrenaline Championship Brandon Medeiros.
Cris: Yeah it was a great match, back and forth the whole time, but Ramon came out on top.
Gus: Something tell's me he's going to want another shot at the Gold. I guess we will just have to see.
Cris: I just got a text...from someone I'm not too fond of.
*Medeiros is handed a mic and looks about to speak*
Brandon Medeiros: I had my shot....the ultimate chance...what I wanted, a shot at the Adrenaline Championship....I lost but I don't regret anything that I did at Do or Die. I gave it my all and so did Ramon there's no shame in giving something 100% effort and still coming up short I'm proud of the show I put on at the Pay-Per-View.
*Medeiros now quickly has a grin on his face*
BM: But that dosn't mean that I don't want one more chance at it.
*Crowd Pop*
BM: And yes I know......Someone else has earned themselves a shot...that man is Matt Christopher.
*Crowd Pop*
So right now I'm calling you out Matt I want your #1 Contenders Shot at the Title so get out here and let's talk things over.
*Medeiros then stands there waiting for Christopher*
As we can see by the HToTheCoreTron, Matt Christopher is in our presence, interrupting Brandon Medeiros. With the challenge just put in place by Medeiros, it should be interesting to see how Christopher responds. Matthew has a mic in his hand as he walks up the steps, enters the ring, and begins to stare down Mr. Medeiros.
Matt Christopher: Well, well. If it isn't Brandon Medeiros. You see Brandon, I know you want a second chance at Carlos, but truly, why do you deserve it anyway? I've already proven myself to be the true #1 contender for that title, so why should I risk it against the likes of you? Well Brandon, luckily for you, I'm in a good mood today.
Not only that, but you see, I want revenge. I want revenge on you, Brandon. A few weeks ago on Havoc, you cheep shotted your way to beating me, and that's unforgivable to me. You stole the #1 contender spot that I had, and then couldn't even win. Well Brandon, I'm not letting that slide. You embarrassed me, and now tonight, I'm going to embarrass you.
Brandon, I accept your challenge. Tonight I will prove why I deserve to be the Adrenaline Champion. So Carlos, I hope you take some notes tonight. Everything you see done to Mr. Mediocre over here, will be everything I do to you at Summerfest!
Carlos, at Summerfest, not only will I take your title, but I will embarrass you just like I will to Medeiros here tonight. I refuse to be anything but a champion here in HWA, and that is exactly what I plan on accomplishing at Summerfest!
And who else would be a better champion than me? I have it all! The look, the talent, I have everything! Neither Brandon or Carlos have these things. Brandon- You've always been mediocre. You were never anything special, even when you were in development.
And Carlos- you have to hide yourself behind 5 other men in order to be considered relevant. That's not what being a champion is about. It's about being here week in and week out getting the job done, and you're not doing that.
When I become champion, it will be all me. No stable, no little helpers, just me! Because that is what being a champion is all about.
So Carlos, Brandon, be prepared for the torture that lays in front of you, at the hands of the fallen one; Matt Christopher!
Brandon Medeiros: Aight Man right here right now I love Competion and I don't feel like losing.
*Medeiros Then drops the mic and is ready to go*
Matt Christopher vs. Brandon Medeiros (If Medeiros wins, he will be the number one contender instead of Christopher)
Christopher and Medeiros are in the middle of the ring exchanging blows. Christopher seems to get the advantage though, getting one or two more right fists in than Medeiros is.
Finally, Christopher takes complete control, as his punches take Medeiros to the ground. He is now on top of Medeiros, pounding away at him. Fist after fist to the face of Medeiros, eventually leads to a bloody nose. Now blood is pouring down Medeiros' face, and things gotten very bloody faster than anyone thought.
Christopher goes back into the corner, and waits for Medeiros to get up...and when he does...spear! After a bone crunching spear, Christopher covers him. 1...2...3.
Winner: Matt Christopher
Gus: Well Christopher had the balls to put his number one contendership on the line tonight, against the man who just lost to Ramon at Do or Die. That courage was well worth showing off, because he came out on top, looking stronger than ever.
Cris: Aint that the truth, huh Gus? I mean, I liked Christopher before...but I mean this perfomance tonight just blew my mind. I mean, I'm not sure if Medeiros was a little off because of having a weeks break, or if he was hurt, or what...but he looked like he was still wrestling down on Redemption.
Gus: Yeah, and Matt Christopher did what he does best, and took advantage of that. He beat him to a bloody pulp.
*Commercial break*
*The large screen in the arena flickers a little, accompanied by a buzzing, zapping noise, akin to that you'd hear when a particularly large mosquito hits an electric grate. The lights dim and upon the screen a dark room slowly fades into view, it becomes quickly apparent that this is the room in which we first saw Erebus and Jarvis Cole all those months ago. A creaking door, heavy footsteps and a grunting noise fill the airwaves as the hulk that is Erebus strides slowly into the room. The camera remains static, glaring at the chair that once confined this unfortunate creature, a huge hand comes to rest on one arm of the chair, tightening its grip on the chain link restraints bolted to the wood. Another set of footsteps filter into the scene, quieter, well placed and timed, a shadow moves out from behind the camera, Jarvis Cole.*
Cole: Take a seat, Erebus, we have much work to do.
*Erebus looks down at the chair, a flash of disobedience long silent in him seeps out from under his leather mask in the form of a low growl. Cole stares coldly at Erebus, the two engaging in a battle of wills. The doctor wins out, his steely gaze enough to strip Erebus of any ideas he may have formed about seizing Cole by his scrawny throat and snapping it in two. The large man releases the restraints and ambles into the chair, his eyes fixed firmly to the floor as fear begins to manifest, unsure of what Cole wants.*
Cole: Hand...
*Erebus looks up from the floor and raises his hand slowly to his face, looking back and forth between the hand and Cole.*
Cole: Your hand.. NOW!
*Erebus shudders as Coles loud, sharp voice echoes around the dirty, dark room. He extends his hand, placing it upon a small, crudely built workbench. Cole moves closer, inspect it closely, nodding and rubbing his chin in deep thought before chuckling quietly to himself. The doctor walks around Erebus and reaches into a drawer pulling out a an object, obscured by the shadows of the room.*
Cole: Do you know what I have here, beast? Do you know what this is? Of course you don't.. your intelligence is as big a myth as Santa Claus or The Easter Bunny. This.. is your new best friend.. this is the weapon that will transform the.. face.. of HWA..
*Cole barks out a laugh as he holds up a picture of Hanz Grubers bloodied and savaged face from just a few weeks back. He removes the dirty, stained gloved from Erebus' hand, replacing it with a new, studded gauntlet. A closer look at the gauntlet reveals that the palm is laden with shards of broken glass, this gauntlet is not designed to help Erebus so much as to disfigure his opponents.*
Cole: Ahh.. Hanz Gruber.. the men whom evolution left behind it seems. Weeks ago you bore witness to the destruction of my monster.. you experienced first hand the devastation that the mind of Jarvis Cole has brought into HWA. And yet.. here we are again, Hanz Gruber vs Erebus.. hardly a rematch.. but you will realise very shortly just how foolish you have been by challenging us once again.
*Cole examines the gauntlet, seemingly satisfied with his handiwork and ushers Erebus to his feet.*
Cole: Gruber.. your insolence will be your downfall, prepare yourself for your final night in HWA.. for once my creation is through, you will be nought but a husk, a useless heap of flesh and bone more suited to propping up a table than standing in a ring...
*Cole begins to laugh and marches Erebus from the room, the camera flickers again momentarily before fading to static on its own once more.*
Cris: Yeah it was a great match, back and forth the whole time, but Ramon came out on top.
Gus: Something tell's me he's going to want another shot at the Gold. I guess we will just have to see.
