Yes, you can block players. I had to ban a player when I use to play cod 5 because he kept harassing me about my "terrible" game play. It's super easy it's at the bottom of the screen when you check out their gamer card.

I have a 95 percent avoidance rate on xbox live because I tried to mimicked a youtube video... in which you trap corner campers into corners and shoot randomly in search and destroy.

it was fun until everyone found out that I was copying a youtube video and then they would play along and that took the humor away.

The interesting part is that the multiplayer aspect of ME3 is all Co-op. it's surviving waves of enemies and completed short objectives split over 10 rounds, so he would get himself killed, and alert everything to our position at once, which sucked.
