No, I never went further than high school. The school of hard knocks beckoned. It's just common sense, observing human nature - particularly those who use religion as a crutch to get through. Not that there is everything wrong with religion - just a LOT of things. One of those things is that people flock to it for the wrong reasons - because of what they want, not what they want to be. So, promises of the afterlife - they're just a sales pitch. I call bullshit. Be a good person in this life because you should be, not because you want something out of it.
