I think the lack of intelligence perceived to be held by a lot of todays kids stems from the proliferation of internet availability. Now everyone has a chance to put their unedited thoughts out there, you would think most of today's kids are morons, you only need to spend 5 minutes on the Youtube comments section of ANY video to see this.

Adults are just as bad though, look at any football (soccer) or wrestling forum!

No, the fact you came of up with "yolo" and "swag" and that the generation worships people like Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown means it's stupid.

I still can't get my head around the fact that a lot of Brown's fans were going on Twitter after the Rhianna debacle, actually saying they would love to be beaten up by him?? That's how idiotic celebrity worship has become these days.

I agree with you... but I think people forget not every child posts on youtube hahaha. at least I don't even know the percentage of kids that do, or their placement on placement tests. hahaha I think assuming an entire generation is stupid via that is easy to do, but easily misguided as well.

Every generation has terrible artists and because you get caught up in crappy music doesn't make you stupid it just means you like crappy music. there isn't even a correlation between listening to bad music and being stupid... I would love to hear someone (try to) prove an actual causation.

People these days are easily misguided. Just look at the increase in scams going on everyday and people are falling for them everyday. They do say one is born every minute.

My uncle has been on the phone with a lady who said she was someone who could clean your computer remotely that was trying to scam one of his friends... He didn't know what to say, but his friend did almost fall for it before she called him to make sure she wasn't being scammed...

My uncle has been on the phone with a lady who said she was someone who could clean your computer remotely that was trying to scam one of his friends... He didn't know what to say, but his friend did almost fall for it before she called him to make sure she wasn't being scammed...

there is a really simple rule for those, if they call you, they are scammers, if they are called Iyogi, they are even worse.

I never mentioned anything about their music. Just the fact they worship them as idols and obsess over everything they do.
