That's exactly what they are...That's why I ask ppl that are against abortion if they eat eggs.

Strictly, no they aren't. Mass marketed eggs are never fertilised by a male, meaning that the growth process hasn't already begun - in fact, it never was going to because contact with the rooster never happened. Hens lay eggs regardless of fertilistation.
