I think this is a major issue. I went from drinking on the regular to being a social drinker a few times a week to where I am now. I drink MAYBE once a month and while I can still kill a 12 pack and get up the next day, it all depends on (a) the beer and (b) how fast I kill it. Age has affected me in that I can't drink the cheap Natty Ice, Keystone, or Old English I used to love when I was worried only about a buzz and not the taste. These days, I am very selective as the type and even brand of alcohol can determine if I wake up craving greasy cheeseburgers or the typical chicken Caesar salad. It's that same with liquor as well; I used to enjoy slamming back on some Smirnoff gin, but anything less than Bombay Sapphire these days and I am toast. Same goes for my whiskey, which is why I can't think to touch Jack Daniels, Jim Bean, or Evan Williams. I'd rather stick to Johnny Walker (black) or 40 Creek and wake up with my liver not tied in knots like an Eagle Scout was practicing with it.
So damn true... If only we could all be more like Benjamin Button.
In all honesty, I think Bmac should have Zoidberg sig with the saying "Want someone to be the new SG? Why not BMac?!" After all, we already blame him for more shit than ANYTHING that SG has been blamed for.
