Honestly, it's the reason why I appreciate the talents of Vickie. While you might be drooling over her looks, I enjoy hearing that she is the "Team Mom" on the road. Her scrap booking ventures are purely what is expected by that lovable mom next door who cares about all the neighborhood kids and does their best to make sure they are taken care of when visiting her house.


As for any other "Diva" on the roster, I am clueless. AJ says she likes video games, yet I have a feeling she doesn't have a clue who Isaac is and the term "Dead Space" is closer to what she thinks is between Eve's ears than on a console. There was the one chick with Brodus who got arrested but that's not really an "in-depth" look into the kind of person she is, now is it?

I think when gamer guys hear that a girl is a gamer they often think, "Cool! She's as way into games as I am!" which rarely turns out to be as true as the imagination might license. Sure they like games, but they like other things just as much - like going out and working and normal kinds of socialising. Not holed up in a rumpus room all weekend playing games online, week after week. Sure they are there. But there are gamers (hardcore) and then there is people who like to game. It's an oft overlooked distinction.

It's interesting that their are so many "gamers" and "nerds" anymore. I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing, but where I live I commonly see gamer shirts, and super hero t-shirts... I wonder if that has anything to do with the reason they pushed AJ so quickly.

Fully agreed. I guess it's different from my perspective as when I think of "gamers" I often think of those who participate in tournaments. When a chick openly labels themselves as a "gamer" (as AJ Lee has made known), I expect them to at least know the types of zombies from the Left 4 Dead series, the differences between Mass Effect and Halo (and not that "they are games about aliens"), and know more about the choices offered on a console outside of how many Sing Star, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero games there are. If their idea of being a "gamer" is to achieve level 12 on Farmville or whatever Facebook game of the month is being promoted, then they shouldn't openly attempt to label themselves as "gamers".

Same here. I don't even play games on-line. If it doesn't have a good story mode, I am not going to like it because I don't play co-op; this could be why I have been so disappointed with the Call of Duty games.
