I love how at the age of 29 I come across as a WW2 vet who threatens to get the 'yungens' in line if they say anything outside of "glory to the US'. I can't help it if I give credit to my country. Though flawed, I'd much rather live here than in a country where I have to worry every night if someone was planning to raid my city, take my children to be in a militia, and raping my wife before killing her along with myself in the process... For some reason, I feel a sense of pride for my life not having to circle around those kinds of fears. (That good enough for ya K2? )

Saw Argo last night. Yeah, I can see all the award nominations.

A quality film for sure, but I actually couldn't help but come away feeling somewhat underwhelmed. I'd even go so far as to say that it felt like the lesser of Affleck's three directorial efforts (Gone Baby Gone is da bomb, yo).
