I've been feeling the same, really. For me though, it comes down to always trying to figure out what happens two months in advance and wanting certain things to happen. When they don't happen, I find myself instinctively disappointed at what occurs no matter how content I should be given my certain tastes. If it does happen, by the time it does, all my exhilaration is already spent on the planning of the transpired event so actually experiencing it isn't as satisfying as it should be.
This is essentially why I find relief in just watching thing unfold without speculating too much on the future because I'll either wind up being correct and feel spoiled because of my prediction or there will be too many speculations that would most certainly whet my interest but are far too implausible to take place so in the end, I'm left disappointed and unsatisfied.
