I have never understood this at all. I'm from the united states and a lot of our people think it's ok under certain situations, if it's wrong for one it's wrong for all in most scenarios IMO

I'm pretty sure (85%ish) the initial intent of the word "jew" was derogatory actually.

The word was derived from the Biblical Hebrew word "Yehudi". It was used by fellow Jews to attribute to others who were also part of the kingdom of Judah.
