I had the same problem, disk tray wouldn't open from time to time. And also wouldn't read disks. Opened it up though and cleaned everything now it's as good as new!!

Careful though, it will void your warrenty if your bothered about such things

go to your system options, that will give you many options choose storage, which is the third one down... go over your harddrives (if you have 1 only clear once) and y will allow you to clear the cashe
