No, no, it's not the content. It's the delivery. Kat thinks she's dry and witty. What she really is, is deadpan and deliberate. It's very much verging on an intentional parody - but the tragedy is it's not meant to be that. Which makes it all the more worse.

I liked the original Kat Dennings - when her name was Janeane Garofalo.
