Aw, man. This stuff was so simple, but it had such an amazing complexity of flavor. It had been marinated in some combination of Sambal, rice wine vinegar, and soy sauce, and they squirted it with lime right after they pulled it out of the flames. It had a lovely little char on the outside, but there wasn't so much as a hint of the chewiness that most usually associate with the stuff on the inside. Shit just melted like butter.
