It's actually a common misconception amongst many religion with similar heritage. Don't quote me on this, as akbar would have a better knowledge based on his religious beliefs, but in the Quran the recordings of Moses (Tawrat), David (Tehillim), and Jesus (Injil) are included in the scriptures it contains. If the logic of "it's in there so it applied to your religion" holds true, would not the Muslim faith also have to follow the same guidelines set in the Bibles version of the Old Testament?
