Phew. Glad to know I hit the vital points without going overboard. Thanks for the backup and it's so true especially about extremists and how those laws are now basically Orthodox Jew traditions nowadays.

It's actually a common misconception amongst many religion with similar heritage. Don't quote me on this, as akbar would have a better knowledge based on his religious beliefs, but in the Quran the recordings of Moses (Tawrat), David (Tehillim), and Jesus (Injil) are included in the scriptures it contains. If the logic of "it's in there so it applied to your religion" holds true, would not the Muslim faith also have to follow the same guidelines set in the Bibles version of the Old Testament?

From what I have learned these are not the reason's why we believe gay marriage as being immoral. Being gay is not a sin. As a Catholic we believe sex to be sacred in marriage in order to procreate. Gay sex involves no procreation hence why it is not marriage. Now I am all for the rights of gay people but these are the ideas we follow

It's your right of course to choose your own religion, even if said religion actively discourages pursuits that center on personal and physical pleasures. Pleasures of the flesh being one. But thanks all the same, I think that is silly.
