as far as Norton goes, you are essentially paying for a much, much worse software package than what you can get for free with minimal effort. It is also a very clunky program and a serious resource hog, and to top it all off usually has the most out of date virus definitions compared to any other program.
also every now and again installing a program Norton will decide that the program that you have chosen to install is a virus, and you are just too stupid to know it.
