If nothing, they are just a regular Rock band. A good one, but just regular. I wouldn't really call them grunge. Foo Fighters, and thanks for getting their name right, are post grunge. But even they have gotten away from that some lately. (Tangental: I hate when people think Foo Fighters are "The Foo Fighters".)

I agree that nickelback should be considered just normal rock but many consider them post grunge. foo fighters are a great band... though I would consider their newest cd "wasting light" hard rock not post-grunge.

That is what I thought. However, I infact, do think Nickelback is a good band.

I tried to like them for a long time and just gave up. IMO they just sell sex and drugs. what is cool if you like that.. but it bores me.

Not a huge fan of U2 either, but they are one of the most successful bands in history.

that song I assume isn't awful... anything related to batman tends to be awesome... not everything but most things at least
