Game of Thrones series are cool. But if you think it'll spoil you the series, you'd better wait.

As for me, is the other way around. I know what happens, but I can tell if they keep close to the books or not.

I'm currently on page 700 of the "Dance with Dragons" I read slow in English.

Yeah but, "Old Man Logan" is not a Graphic Novel. It's a six issue mini series collected into one book. Making it a "TPB" (Trade Paperback.)

comic book connoisseur lol. By the way has anyone read that Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. The movie trailer looked cool but I wondered if the books were any good.

im reading the millenium saga, i think they are pretty good and the books can get you really intriged, im only have book 3 to read so i hope i can do it soon

As intelligent as Dawkins is*, I find it incredibly hard to take most of his ideas about religion seriously at all. Speaking as an atheist**, he embodies everything I hate about atheism - every bit the smarmy, ridiculous cunt he tries to portray religious people as. Much like most militant atheists. And from what I've seen of his pro-atheism stuff on television and the like, he doesn't seem to act very intelligent or rational about the subject at all.... mostly drawing conclusions out of thin-air*** and using irrelevant science metaphors to make their practices look silly.

He's a fantastic evolutionary biologist and has a great mind for genetics/memetics... but as a religious philosopher, he will surely be laughed at in the future and remembered as being some sort of populist, rambling quack.

Now reading: Martin Heidegger - Being and Time (...and STILL reading Infinite Jest! About 300 pages to go! (minus footnotes))

* - The Selfish Gene is practically required reading for anyone in the life sciences, if not everyone. Meme theory is a highly interesting concept.

** - I'm an atheist more through a general apathy towards religion and avoidance of debate on the matter, rather than being one through any sort of conscious life-choice. A meaningless pigeonhole, really - "not religious" is perhaps more accurate.

*** - It's been a while since I've even thought of Dawkins, so I can only give a vague example - he often says something along the lines of "there is no evidence that atheism influences people to do bad things"... which conveniently forgets about things such as the Great Purge in Soviet Russia under Stalin, the Khmer Rouge and killing fields in Cambodia under Pol Pot, and probably other atrocities I don't know about.

A short review of My Next Door Neighbour is a Dragon.

Ah Zack Parsons, what a wonderful life he must live. He is the SomethingAwful writer and reviewer and lives a pretty cool life. In the book he tells you the tale off his dickhead of a publisher and what he wants him to do. He wants him to find the freaks of the internet, you know the kind...Furries, humans who believe they're elves, people who get turned on by being digested and fan fiction writers. His goal is to interview them in a Louis Theroux gonzo-type style to try and understand what makes them tick.

Luckily this book is not only cheap, it's a bloody great read, Zack is really good with his choice of words and how he presents telling you each chapter with his humour is amazing. The deeper you get into the book the freakier they get. I aren't really into reading books (This is pointless bracket to make it look like i'm telling you something important, because I know not many people will read this short review.) but you should definately pick this bad boy up.
