Source - Wrestling Observer Newsletter Jim Ross' one-year contract with WWE will be coming up in about a month or so. As of right now we haven't heard of any indications that he wouldn't be re-signed because there doesn't seem to be a replacement for him being groomed. He did recently open a restaurant in Norman, Oklahoma and his long-term goal is to make it a nationwide chain. You may remember a few months ago when WWE Chairman Vince McMahon gave the commencement speech at Sacred Heart University and was given an honorary doctorate. As noted, this happened because his wife Linda is on the board. Before the decision was made there was a petition signed by many members of the faculty saying that Vince was the worst choice possible. For whatever reason, the University still went with him.
