Early iMPACT! Rating, Why iMPACT! Isn't Airing Next Week

-- This week's edition of TNA iMPACT! averaged 1.41 million viewers during its two hour timeslot. This is a little bit down from the 1.44 million viewers they averaged last week. Here's a look at the viewership numbers over the last five weeks: August 5 - 1.63 million viewers - August 12 - 1.52 million viewers - August 19 - 1.35 million viewers - August 26 - 1.44 million viewers - September 2 - 1.41 million viewers. More detailed ratings numbers for iMPACT! & TNA Reaction are expected to be delayed due to the Labor Day holiday weekend.
-- Although TNA was promoting an interview with Rob van Dam for next week's iMPACT!, the show is still being pre-empted. With the NFL season getting under way, Spike felt the show would not do well and pre-empted it for the week.
