Kalisto vs. Alberto Del Rio (United States Championship) – Two-out-of-three Falls
Predicted Winner: Kalisto
With the amount of title juggling and matches these men have had, it is hard to get invested in who wins or what happens. The in-ring action will be fine, but there is zero fuel left in this feud. If WWE wants to build more Latin stars, they need to have Del Rio go on more of a solo vicious streak, and have Kalisto branch off with more underdog wins against other stars. Hopefully this will finally put to rest this feud, because we have seen enough of it. Kalisto to win clean on the 3rd pinfall.
Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks vs. Naomi and Tamina
Predicted Winner: Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks
This match is a necessary evil that we must endure in order to get the best possible women’s WrestleMania match. This match should not last too long, but it will setup for Sasha eventually earning the #1 contender for the Divas title. The first step in that is to shed off her former teammates, Naomi and Tamina. In-ring should be nothing out of the ordinary, so expect this one to be the relief match in between two of the stronger matches. Sasha to score the pinfall.
Charlotte vs. Brie Bella (Divas Championship)
Predicted Winner: Charlotte
This was bound to happen with Daniel Bryan’s retirement. Brie Bella has been under the WWE banner since 2007, so she does deserve a final title match if this is truly one of her last matches. Does she have great in-ring skills? No. She is, however, riding the wave of Daniel Bryan. The match may not be great, but it may have more crowd involvement than anticipated. In the end, there is no reason for Charlotte to lose the title a month before WrestleMania, so don’t expect a title switch. Charlotte to win.
Ryback, Big Show and Kane vs. The Wyatt Family (Harper, Rowan, Strowman)
Predicted Winner: The Wyatt Family
There is a time and place for the “big” men to wrestle, but this is probably not it. Luckily, with a 6-man tag, each man can receive a bit of offense and do a spot or two, and pass it off to the next person. If the booking is correct, Harper and Ryback will take the bulk of the workload, saving the big and quick spots for Strowman and Big Show. With Lesnar tied up in the Triple Threat and Bray not wrestling here, one could assume he will interfere in the main event. Expect the family to stand tall in the end, with Strowman getting the pin on Kane or Big Show.
Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler (Intercontinental Championship)
Predicted Winner: Kevin Owens
Both of these men are some of the best in-ring performers on the main roster today. Week after week of singles matches between these men have hurt the feud quite a bit, because we have essentially seen everything. If this was split up between tag matches, interfering in other matches, and backstage segments, this could have been a fantastic program. Luckily, we will still see solid in-ring action that will lead to an end of this. Owens to win clean with the pop-up powerbomb.
AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho
Predicted Winner: AJ Styles
Although a rematch, this feud still has some intensity left. Chris Jericho seems to truly be invested in getting AJ more established, which proves why he is such a great veteran. AJ, also a veteran, will put on a great show as usual. Using Y2J as the entrance feud for AJ is more than enough, and should gear him up for a good WrestleMania showing. AJ to win via the Styles Clash.
Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns – #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania
Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns
Remember Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena at Royal Rumble 2015? This has the potential to live up to that match, even without the Architect. Provided they have a proper 20+ minutes to showcase, and this is no-disqualification, this should be fantastic. The in-ring action will be hard hitting (similar to Reigns vs. Brock at WM) with the added brawler of Ambrose in the mix. Expect a few big spots, and a broken Spanish announce table. Roman Reigns is the clear frontrunner to win (especially with the prior build-up with the Authority), but they have built Ambrose up to the point where a casual fan would think he has a good chance of winning. Ambrose lost his IC title, and has been the central focus as the man to stand up against Brock Lesnar over the past month. He was also the final elimination of the Royal Rumble. If Vince did allow for a swerve, Ambrose winning would not be a stretch at all. Even if all the prior matches are mediocre, this one match could make Fastlane worth watching.
