Neville

You may be thinking why have I included Neville in this list, since he was only just been called up to the main roster and hasn’t really proved himself as of yet. Although I feel that he has the potential to be a big star in WWE.

If you cast your minds back to when Neville was in NXT, I can’t help but remember so many good matches that he had. For example, the feud he had with Sami Zayn. Each of the matches that they had seemed to be memorable for me because of the high quality wrestling that both superstars produce in all their matches not just with each other.

Don’t forget that Neville was one half of the first NXT Tag Champions (Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey). He is also the longest reigning NXT Champion. This surely means that WWE saw some potential in him from the start and his big push is yet to come.

Bray Wyatt

My general opinion of Bray Wyatt is that he is a decent worker and I like his gimmick. Having said that it was about this time last year that I began to wonder, what are WWE doing with Bray Wyatt?

Ever since WWE split up the faction know as The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan), Bray Wyatt has been this faction leader with no one following him. From the time when Harper and Rowan left Wyatt to now, Wyatt has been having mid-card feuds and sometimes there is no real meaning or story behind it and then the feud ends abruptly. After that he picks another superstar to feuds with the next week and they have an ‘ok’ match at the PPV.

In my opinion WWE should give this guy a push reasonably soon before people become sick of seeing the same thing happen to him each month. Possibly stick the Intercontinental Championship on him and see how he goes as a champion.

Dolph Ziggler

I think most fans of WWE know that Dolph Ziggler has been one of, if not, WWE’s biggest underused superstar of the ‘PG Era’. So you can understand why Ziggler has recently consider leaving WWE.

Dolph Ziggler has been with the WWE now for over 10 years so you would have expected that WWE think he is a great worker and all round good wrestler. Therefore you would also expect that he would have had a significant amount of pushes. But NO. The two pushes he has had have lasted for a short period of time and in his first reign he was awarded the championship and then lost it the same night. That proves that WWE are not really willing to give you a big push unless you work for it or your name’s John Cena.

WWE seem reluctant to give Ziggler anymore pushes as you’d think that they would have done them by now being as Ziggler is now 35 and has recently considered quitting WWE all together.

I would have place Dolph Ziggler higher us this list, possibly number one, if it wasn’t for the fact the he is 35 so his time in the business now is clearly limited. This means that the amount of the pushes, if any the WWE are willing to give him, are going to be limited as well.

Rusev

This may seem to be an unusual selection to some of you as Rusev has always been a mid-card guy and he doesn’t receive that many pops. However, this is a guy that went on an unbeaten streak from when he was called up to main roster to Wrestlemania 31, where has lost to none other than, yep, John Cena. Not every superstar goes on a undefeated streak, surely there is something special about him.

Before he lost the United States Championship, Rusev was ‘The Hero of the Russian Federation’ an unstoppable force that destroy everything in its path. You could say that this made him a top heel that WWE had at the time as he was getting booed every night for his insults toward the United States of America. This made me believe that WWE had big plans for Rusev. However that is clearly not the case at the moment as he recent defeated Mark Henry in a squash match.

I feel that if it was not for the foot injury that Rusev sustained on a episode of Smackdown, then he should have gone on to become ‘Mr. Money in the Bank’, instead of Sheamus who is a previous WWE Champion. Although since his loss at Wrestlemania 31 it appears that Rusev is struggling to win a match now. Almost the polar opposite to what we saw when he was United States Champion.

Cesaro

This may be slightly biased as I am a huge Cesaro fan. Despite that there is still no doubt about the ability of Cesaro. He is, pound for pound, one of the strongest men on the current roster. Also, he is one of the best workers that WWE have at the moment.

It is clear that WWE rate Cesaro quite highly because he already has a few accolades to his name. He is a former United States Champion, a former Tag Team Champion and he is the winner of the first Andre the Giant Battle Royal. It is evident that the WWE Universe are wanting Cesaro to get a push, for example he has had many pops on different occasion the most memorable is probably that of when he fought John Cena in his United States Championship Open Challenge, twice. As well as this on a recent episode of Raw, when Cesaro came out for Miz TV, the crowd had signs saying ‘Cesaro Section’, which filled the majority of the front rows. This show the amount of fans that Cesaro has currently.

Most recently Cesaro is feuding with Kevin Owens, which will probably lead to a match at Summerslam which I would love to see. Cesaro and Owens are two of my favourite superstars at the moment, both in the ring and on the mic. So it will be interesting to see how that feud plays out.
