5. Samoa Joe Debut- Slammaversery ’05
To kick offthe list we use Samoa Joe’s match that kicked off his career. This match showed the strength of Joe along with his speed and hard hitting ability. This match was definitely a foreshadowing for Joe’s dominant year in TNA
4. Samoa Joe Vs Austin Aries Slammaversery 2012
In one of TNA’s biggest Show of the year, this match showcases just why the show is so big. These two Great former ROH Wrestlers put on quite a performance but Samoa Joe proved that he can go up against any one with any style of wrestling
3. Samoa Joe Vs Sting Bound for Glory ’08
A good match isn’t just about going to the ring and doing a bunch of flippidy flippidy shit. It’s about telling a story. And Joe and Sting were able to tell a good solid story. This also proved Joe can hold his own as champion.
2. Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle Lockdown ’08
The Feud between Joe and Angle was amazing for that time. They had such great chemistry and were two hard hitting brawlers who had great mat work. This match is an extension of that incredible submission style of Joe. Although I believe the cage got in the way of what this match could have been. This was a great way for Joe to win his first title and there was no better man to face than Kurt Angle
1. Samoa Joe v Christopher Daniels V A.J Styles Unbreakable ’05
THIS IS FRIGGAN WRESTLING!
TNA can always hang their hat on the fact that this match was made. This is everything you need for a good wrestling match. A meaningful title, a good story, and three of the Best wrestlers of the last decade. This is still a match that can be shown and the same reaction is … holy shit! Samoa Joe came out on top but all the guys gave it their all
