-- Another event has been added to WrestleMania week in New York City. As noted yesterday here on the website, there will be an Iron Sheik Roast at Caroline's Comedy Club at 10 PM on Thursday, April 4. Tickets are on sale here with the code CAMELCLUTCH. Hot 97 DJ Pete Rosenberg will be the master of ceremonies. This will be the second Sheik roast after Kayfabe Commentaries did one a few years ago.
-- The New York Daily News wrote a story on the Ludus Wrestling Academy in Brooklyn, NY. It said that the city had filed a court order claiming it was a public nuisance and asked that it be shut down for a year. Joel Maximo said that the issue has been resolved in court as of a few weeks ago. He rented the space the school uses for for a party that got out of hand. The article said there were two instances where alcohol was served at events and there was concern over unlicensed security being used.

-- A DVD called Southwest Championship Wrestling: Best Of The 80's Volume 1 will be released on April 28. The DVD featured Bruiser Brody on the cover.

-- The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling documentary will be out on March 26 on DVD.
